A few months ago, myself, a housemate and soon-to-be friends from Bulgaria rented a car and a cabin in Geilo, Norway.
There is still so much of Norway, that I have yet to explore. Geilo, at only a few hours drive from Oslo (as well as Bergen) was the perfect get away for a few days mid-week to get back to nature and see the beauty that lies between the two biggest cities.
Geilo, is a town known for skiing and yet this was not on our agenda as we decided to try and see as much as possible within a short time. We set out with cameras lining each and every window of our rental car ready to photograph snow topped mountains, and ever-changing scenes of predominantly white. We wore most of our wardrobes to keep warm in minus 20 (celsius) temperatures and pit stops were kept quick.
It feels good to see more of this beautiful country. My eyes wide open, my camera by my side and giving myself plenty of opportunity for adventure.
